SOOOOOOOOO ADORABLE

I was worried the texture of this quilt would be hard--you know, like your grandma's old quilts. I never liked quilts growing up, but this looked so cute I couldn't resist it. I figured it'd be good for "show" when I made the bed. When it arrived, it totally exceeded my expectations. I don't think it's in the description, and it certainly doesn't show in the picture, but those flowers are super soft velour! It's SO cool. The quilt is super cottony soft... And the green color is perfect...not too grassy green, very cool and calming. The pink polka dot back of the quilt is a little bit more bubble gum and brighter than any of the flowers on the front, but it's no biggie. It still blends with all the other pink colors in her room. My not-quite two year old daughter cannot get enough of it. She says "I LUUUB it, mommy" and rolls around on it, stroking the velour flowers. Anyhow, I love it. It totally ties the room together, as the Dude would say.

Worked well. Baby slept long hours.

Worked well for us. We swaddled our son. He rolled to the side when we rocked him so we just didn't rock him. He fell asleep on his own then. It was light, easy to carry up and down. The down side was that it was crooked to one side so we put him on the lower side against the mesh. He liked placing his head against it.
The other thing was that he was 24.5" at 9 weeks so we could not use it anymore. Now we use it to store his stuff.

Not the typical crib set

I bought this before my son was born in Aug 2012. I liked it because of the colour/design as well as the price. It was not the typical cutesy crib set and also didn't cost a fortune. I have a slightly thicker crib mattress and the fitted sheet is a little small but I've managed to make it work.

I must admit that in the past I haven't had the best luck with products containing "miracle" in their name. However, this blanket is the shining exception!

Our son was a very big boy -- 10 lb, 6 oz of joy. We had read Harvey Karp's "The Happiest Baby on the Block" (highly recommended) and we knew we wanted to swaddle him. We had planned to use a receiving blanket, but we quickly found out that none of them were remotely big enough. Not even close. We spent a ton of money buying bigger blankets, and we tried two other expensive swaddling blankets as well. Nothing worked, nothing held the baby, and all three of us were desperate to get some sleep. We even bought a cheap sheet set and tore it up to get some bigger patches of cloth. No dice.

Finally, I ordered this blanket online (Amazon didn't carry it at the time, alas.) BINGO -- our son slept through the night at once! Yes! We had to wake him from a sound, swaddled sleep to change and feed him; he went back down...

Check Prop 65 Warning!

I bought this crib without realizing that it had the CA Prop 65 warning which means it contains harmful leaves of certain chemicals (formaldehyde I think...) that can cause cancer and birth defects! Why would they use these on a crib?!?
I immediately returned it (thankfully Amazon offers free returns) and bought a crib that does not use these chemicals...

Update (Feb. 2013) -- my original review was written in 2010 and the warning was present for this crib. It has since been removed. However, I still encourage everyone to pay attention to these types of warnings on all children's products!

We love our cosleeper. It is so convenient to have our little one right next to us. The sheets are a bit expensive but they are durable and soft. We wash them on hot and dry them in the dryer and they have not shrunk. The mattress is very firm so it is safe for your little one. It also wipes clean so accidents and spit up are easy to remedy. The sides have mesh openings so if your baby rolls over and has their face against the side, they will be ok. Would definitely recommend the arms reach cosleeper.

Incredible!
I LOVE this crib! This crib is elegant and sturdy and has a lot of storage. It was perfect for the nursery :)

What I really love is the changing table and the fact that this will grow with my daughter into her toddler bed and then again into a full bed. I love the rounded ball shaped legs in front, the elegant curve of the head board, the smooth rolling dresser drawers. And it's real solid too. I've leaned on it and tried pushing it and shaking it and it just stays put.

And the color is nice too. It's not just a plain white. It's more like a vanilla ice cream color. Makes it softer on the eyes and matches perfectly with our pink, lilac, and white nursery colors.

There's a lot of crib designs out there that are combos but I was going for a more elegant look and this was the only one I could find.

When ordering it from Amazon they have to ship it from a company that handles large packages and the ship time may take one extra day...

Good, yet some issues

I found this crib and knew I had to have it! I wanted a changing table along with the crib, and this had it! So we ordered it! It was easy to put together, looks great, I love love the way it looks! But, we went to get a mattress, got one, came home and realized it was tooooooo big for it. We ended up getting one the size we needed, but it was a hassle. Another hassle included that the sheets we got didn't fit, I had to have them altered to fit. Now, we got a changing pad, a standard size one, and it doesn't fit either. I wish I had known all of this before, re reading the description, it does explain that the size of the mattress, but nothing about the changing pad. Just be aware of the sizes when you go to order it! It's a great looking crib and fits perfect in our nursery, but I just wish I had known the sizing issues

Would never buy these again!
