It almost made a five star, but...

I would have given it a 5 star rating if the ladder had flat steps instead of round ones. I think it would be safe for the kids. It is a sturdy bed and was easy to assemble. One my guardrails was damaged on delivery, but Amazon is replacing it. The bed itself is very well made.
