Good Hutch
The hutch really makes a difference for our nursery. It provides good storage and the shelves are solid for not being pure hard wood. The only negative I can say about it is the fact that it really does sit on top of the dresser unit as a previous reviewer had mentioned. The only attachment provided were two 2" metal brackets. The assembly instructions make no mention of the brackets nor the accompanying screws for it, so this tells me the brackets were an afterthought. It's laughably little support for such a heavy hutch. From reading other reviews, we already knew we would likely be buying our own support brackets to install from the local home improvement store. My husband bought two 3-feet long pieces of oak wood to support both sides from the back. It is now secured enough to keep the hutch from tilting frontward, but not backwards since there is no front-side attachment from the front of the hutch base.
