Great product after you get it put together - frustrating to assemble - you need an allen wrench drill bit set!
A good solid hardwood bookcase, with no MDF/particle board, which was the main reason I bought it. I was looking for a front-facing bookcase and liked that this one has storage in the back. The first one I received had damage to several of the pieces. There is a note inside which asks you not to return it to the place of purchase, but instead to call the manufacturer. I had started putting it together at night after Baby was asleep, so obviously the manufacturer's offices were closed. I sent them an email and kept putting it together, thinking they would send me replacement parts. They instead told me to return it to Amazon. So I had to get Amazon to send me a new one before I could return the old one because the packaging was literally falling apart when it arrived, so I needed a new box. When the new one arrived, that packaging was also nearly falling apart and had a big hole in the side. I patched it up the best I could with packing tape. The new product had a few pieces...
