UPDATED - Harsh Grader - Good Product - Interim Review

About 18 mos. on, I can finally get around to updating this review. For your sake, brevity is today's watch-word:
--Bumped to 4 stars. Nothing has broken from appropriate use (see below); no signs that anything's about to break.
--Finish is holding up well.
--Underbed drawers are still the biggest disappointment. Older son broke one of the drawer bottoms when he stepped on it, spring boarding into the lower bunk. This (along with one other item) keeping me from awarding five stars. I would not recommend paying extra to buy the underbed drawers.
--The other reason this is not a five star product: Lower bunk headroom. Both my boys are young so it's not yet an issue. By the time the older one is twelve, it will be. This bunk, in my opinion, is not a suitable product for anyone high school aged or older. But if it survives that long, it will have lasted 10+ years and will have been well-worth the price. So far, no reason...
