Molly headboard beautiful but has a design issue
First of all, let me warn you I can be extremely picky. I just received the Molly headboard. It is a beautiful headboard, and the design is just perfect for the space that I need it.. but just a heads up and something that isn't clear in the online description: the headboard and footboard are one and the same item. The headboard is packaged with two leg extensions that slide into the end posts, raising it to over-the-bed height. If you want the footboard, you would just leave these leg extensions off and it drops it down to foot height. The problem is, the headboard end posts (the two big pipes with the finials on either side) each have two holes pre-drilled into them half-way up with steel screw sleeves inserted.. this is to receive the bed frame bolts when it is used as a footboard. Unfortunately, at headboard height it gives you these two awkward looking bolt-holes where you might see them around pillow height. I think they intend for the customer to simply turn the headboard...
