Defecive after only two months of use
Initially, the mattress seemed to be well made and comfortable. My daughter got to use it for about 2 weeks before going into hospital for an expected stay of only 5 days. She ended up remaining in hospital for almost 5 months. Hence, the mattress was not used for 5 months. When my 2-year-old was finally able to sleep on this mattress again, it took not even two months before the mattress had sunken down in the middle and REMAINED that way.
My daughter is actually underweight for her age, so it's not her weight that caused the problem...There is just no maintained support in this mattress. I am now flipping it or reversing the position in the crib every few days, but my daughter is still uncomfortable in bed. She wakes up several times during the night b/c, if she sleeps in the middle of the mattress, ie the sunken area, she has to lie at an "upwards" angle when lying on her (either) side. She calls to me to help move her each and every time she turns to her side so that...
