It comes fully assembled (big plus for me) and it is very cute. I think it is pretty sturdy for sitting, maybe not a 200 lb adult such as myself, but definitely for a child or smaller adult. It is plush, bright and colorful, and I think it is a great size. It is made out of thin possibly particle board on the inside, but that really shouldn't be an issue unless you're putting very heavy toys in it or are constantly moving it. It has plenty of weight to it and should stand up to some punishment. I think my daughter really likes it already!
