It looked so pretty in the picture...
With such a pretty looking bag I couldn’t wait to get it. I was hoping to consolidate down to one bag that would function as my diaper bag and purse and that would allow me to carry the essentials I need for my infant and toddler in one bag instead of carrying around a diaper bag and a purse. Unfortunately, it's not possible to lower one strap to pull out your wallet, diaper, bottle, chapstick, etc. from the bag with your free hand. When lowering the strap the chain only allows for so much play, but not enough to reach your hand in and take anything out. You have to take the bag off your shoulder, place on a counter and open. Even if I didn't have a little one in my arms this would be impractical. I ordered the glazed cotton, which has a nice exterior that appears easy to clean. It has a stiff feel to it, which I like but aesthetically, the bag looks like a big marshmallow. It completely loses the pretty hobo shape once you put anything in (diapers, wipes, wallet and a change...
